The New Year kicked off this past Saturday, and needless to say I kicked it off right. I spent the evening at the Herter family manor eating tacos and playing with their cat Fred. If this was any indication of fun times to come, I’d say two thousand eleven is going to be a fantastic year! There are a number of things to look forward to. First of all, my dad has graduated nursing school. This means that a lucrative job is on the horizon! Second of all, Sublime with Rome will be releasing a new album. Hopefully it doesn’t suck. Third of all, there will be a new call of duty released. I will surely not be able to afford this as soon as it is released, which means I will continue playing black ops. The good thing about this is the fact that I will be able to play with slightly less competitive players, and I will no longer have to listen to statements such as “Bro, let’s play some ops” or “Dude isn’t ops soooooo sick!?!” It is something you can’t truly appreciate until you have it. Also, this is the year I graduate. This is going to be quite a sad moment in my life. After all, I love high school so much. Every single student and teacher here is insanely friendly, and I love them all! It’s such a wild time! If I could pick an era of my life to live in forever, it definitely wouldn’t be my retirement years when I have a happy family and no responsibility. It would be my high school years. Despite this being my opinion, I think it’s time for me to move on to a new stage in my life. 2011 will open many new and exciting opportunities for me, although I will miss the Stoldt family.
